GMAT Test Dates

The GMAT is now given in a test centers throughout the year and around the world. (Note that the test is written in English regardless of where you take it). Because the GMAT is a computer-based test, you no longer have to be concerned about registration deadlines and late fees.

Each test center has its own test dates and times. There are many choices of weekdays and Saturdays. Most appointments are generally in the morning.

Test centers vary considerably. There are many privately run centers, such as Pearson Professional Centers. as well as colleges and universities, military bases and mobile centers. Test locations are most convenient to those who live in or near a large city.

Booking Your GMAT Date

Register online 24/7 for tests in any country where GMAT test centers are located. Do this at the official MBA.com site. Although their site did not work with Chrome browser or my settings and their user interface is not so great, you get the great benefits of being able to register at your convenience and select your locaction, date and test time.

You must pre-register. There is no walk-in GMAT registration at test centers.

In addition to registering online, you can also use these contacts:

  • Email: GMATCandidateServicesAmericas@pearson.com
  • Telephone (toll-free): +1 800-717-GMAT (4628) (7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. U.S. Central time)
  • Telephone (not toll-free): +1 952-681-3680, (7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. U.S. Central time)
  • Fax (not toll-free): +1 952-681-3681

Taking the GMAT became much more flexible after the test went from being a paper test to a computer-based test. When I took the GMAT, it was a paper test that was not given very often. Another nice thing: Test-takers no longer have to be concerned about registration dates and late fees.
