This is my biased and opinionated site about the GMAT, preparing for the GMAT and getting into an MBA program. The academic world and the test prep outfits all have their spiels. I try to cut through their chatter and offer something helpful.
I have an MBA. My GMAT score was in the 99th percentile. My undergraduate degree is in engineering from a large state university. I worked for 10 years before going back to school. I went to a full-time MBA program.
I like that I got my MBA. It was a good decision for me. But an MBA is not for everyone. An MBA does not cure career or personal woes.
I am often asked for advice about getting an MBA, getting a good GMAT score and selecting an MBA program to enroll in. So I created this web site.
I am the only person who works on this site. I write anonymously because this allows me to write without worrying that I might insult or ridicule some institution, organization that gives tests, or some person I have chatted with. This makes the site better.
I am just one person who does this site on the side. Sorry, I cannot answer emails, or offer individual advice. I do not have the time to manage comments posted by readers so I do not have a way to post comments.
At some point, though, I may even explore the especially interesting question of why you even want to get an MBA.
